Biography
This journal was started in the summer of 2003, my first year as computer science department chair at an academically rigorous secondary school. I have a degree in English, and have also taught high school English as well as elementary school science. In addition to teaching, I have worked as a curriculum designer at the Museum of Science in Boston, and as an online course developer at a dot-com. Most recently, I received a master's degree in technology in education from Harvard, where I studied uses of technology in mediation and negotiation through a series of courses at the Law School and MIT Media Lab. I currently work at an independent school in Hawaii, teaching computer science and training faculty.
